Financial Results for the First Semester 2018
ALPHA TRUST-ANDROMEDA S.A. has recorded net earnings of €143.8 thousand for the semester that ended on June 30, 2018, under the International Financial Reporting Standards.
More specifically, the Company’s main aggregates in the first semester of 2018 are as follows:
The Company’s gross income stood at €491 thousand against €2.53 mil for the first semester of 2017, mainly resulting from gains from the valuation of securities at fair value based on IFRS and gains from purchase and sale.
Earnings before taxes stood at €188 thousand against €2,00 million of the corresponding period last year.
Net earnings after tax stood at €143.8 thousand against €1.96 mil. in the first semester of 2017.
Cash in hand and cash equivalents of the Company on June 30, 2018 stood at €1 mil. in total against €612 thousand on June 30, 2017.
On June 30, 2018 the Company’s investment portfolio stood at €11.1 mil. or €26.6 per share, thus rising by 1.63%, despite the decline by 4% marked by the Total Return Index of the ATHEX.
Its portfolio was totally invested in Greece, by 83% in domestic stocks and by 5.24% in bonds. Own shares constitute 2.94% of its portfolio.
The Company’s top five equity holdings at the end of the fiscal year consist of QUEST HOLDINGS, THRACE PLASTICS, OPAP, SARANTIS, AEGEAN AIRLINES S.A. and ΤΙΤΑΝ.
The stock of ALPHA TRUST-ANDROMEDA S.A., with a closing price of €19.40 on 26.07.18, was traded in the Athens Stock Exchange at a discount of -25.91%.
